Interview Renato Molas

My style of photography is invasive and invisible. This style of photography suits me the best since I’ve always worked in cityscapes. I enjoy people, crowds, buildings and streets, with my work I want to capture and show how the city moves. It’s simply wonderful. Photographing in different cities provided me with encounters with amazing people and a couple of friendships.

One advice I would give to photographers is to wander around in cities and neighbourhoods. Let yourself be surprised and photograph everyday.

I’ve never taken a photography course or workshop. I’m completely self-taught, everything I know is by my own account. To me, a photo is good when you can surprise yourself with your own work and skills, even after repeating a shot until it’s perfect.
